Cameron Highlands

Last Christmas, Pei Ying, Cheryl, Roland and I went to Cameron Highlands.

Roland’s photos: Good
Cheryl’s photos: Good

My photos: So So. Some selections here.

My Civic
Here is my car posing behind the rolling hills.
Tea plantation was like the one thing that captured my imagination.

Wallpaper
This is the attempted “wallpaper” shot.
Don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing to have Cheryl as your wallpaper.

Aftermath
There’s a story to this. We were taking pictures around this extremely dangerous part of the river.
Someone… fell from the right side rocks to the middle portion, thank God.
If you look to the left corner of this picture, you would have noticed that by falling off that, I’ll be carrying a dead body home from this trip.

This was the first trip I got to ramp my car’s engine, fly on my country roads @ 130kmh, build rapo with the car during the oddest turns and narrowest lanes on the mountains. I’m glad I did so, hopefully the next trip during Chinese New Year will be much smoother, knowing my car’s limits and my driving handicaps 🙂

Next – to conquer Mount Kinabalu!

  2. FC is about 12 measured manually. I expected better 😉

You MUST drive up to M’sia, com’on, be a man, do the right thing.

Unfortunately I don’t have the luxury to blog as often though 🙂 Stay tuned!

  4. Hey man, before u attempt Mt Kinabalu,
You might want to try Gunung Nuang in Hulu Langat.
It might not be as high but its challenging.
According to my friend, they say if you can conquer Gunung Nuang, you will probably be able to handle Mt Kinabalu 😉
I just conquered that last weekend :p

  5. anyway, if you’re like me, seldom exercise,
you might want to try first attempt half way,
    second attempt to the peak,
    something like that…

i tried first attempt straight to the peak and took me like 7+ hours up
