South East Asia’s Largest Youth Movement for Personal Change

SEAChange is conducting a simple survey on what you would like to see changed in South East Asia. This survey is for youth, as defined as 15 to 35 years olds. You can take the challenge by going to:

youthsays.com/seachange

This leads to Youth Engagement Summit or YES2009 (what else is more agreeable) where you get to meet lots of famous people in Malaysia in November. Check out their website for more details.

One of the organization that I was pretty active (when I could… sigh where have my youth gone) – ReCom – is also a proud supporter of this event. I’ve seen many interactions on ReCom that has resulted in real impact in a person’s thinking and outlook, some of which has materialized into concrete actions that benefited their community. We Malaysians (and Singaporeans too) need to shed this apathy that was our parent’s generation (really!) when it comes to helping make sure that OTHER PEOPLE in your community at large are helped. This would probably be the biggest impact that our generation can forge in the history of mankind, powered by the Internet.
