Judging from the general sentiment online, there were quite a lot of detractors. I must say that most articles written on US publications do have their own bias towards their version of liberal thoughts. Cut them some slack la. On the other hand, the command of the language and the way certain thought were articulated in a mixture of quotes, keen observations and historical perspectives is definitely worth emulating.
