“Boss Key” for PhDComics

If you read PhD Comics, you might have noticed the addition of a new “Emergency Button” at the bottom of each comic strip like this:

Emergency Button

Clicking on it generates an academic paper that looks like this:

Abstract
This paper presents an alternative visual web-enabled interpretation of the short-based graphical sequential narration titled Admin Assistants Week (ADM). It is hypothesized that use of this secondary interface suffused with third-person linguistic usage and academic spatial distribution will provide improvement in perceived acumen generated from stochastic interactions with supervisory archtypes found in learning environments. Results show that persistent exposure to phdcomics dot com (PDC) is mildly correlated to jocular deportment, which suggests improvements in temporal-delay behavior of bounded activity.

etc.

But the actual text varies and is probably picked from a pool of pre-generated jargonic ramblings 😉

And I thought Boss Keys during the days when I was playing PC Games where pressing say F1 would immediately pause the game and turn the entire screen to a Lotus 1-2-3 (Excel, if you’re not that generation) screen was gone for good, now that most offices are connected with Internet access + administrators took away privileges to install games.

Office slacking dies hard!
