Holiday Planning

What holiday… starring at my calendar yesterday and comparing that with some of the thoughts I have just 2 months ago about winding down is such an irony. A combination of weddings, CFA, TPO, Philwinds, Bizroolz, UsefulMusic, not forgetting the handful of websites and favors for people, not even get me started on the amount of spillover of IDA’s work into the night and wee hours, is gradually moving me to the brink of exhaustion.

I’ve tried, a number of times, to eliminate unnecessary stuff, one of which unfortunately was the constant improvement of this blog (so many bugs etc.) another unfortunately was some of the volunteer participation in various forums and activities. Haven’t cooked for 3+ years. Haven’t been a filial son. The light currently is the 21 days of leave and the 14 days left over from this year, hoping to make it possible for me to have a month off next year for other stuff.

That said, I still miss the getting together thing we did 3 years ago, and then a year ago in Woodlands. Maybe it’s worth throwing one of these things again for comfort – recession mah.. maybe got retrenched bankers who need to eat. Hard thing is to make it special for people.
