US Zip Code Maps
http://acg.media.mit.edu/people/fry/zipdecode/
For the people like me who’s always trying to figure out zip codes. We need one for the world. Who’s up for that?
Speaking of this, I wonder if there’s any attempt to standardize transport protocols for the entire world. We did it with the Internet, but physical mail is still pretty hard to decypher.

I think I have to explain this. The one on top, I wrote, with a tool. I’ll be posting the tool so that you can copy the html and leave your own associates ID in it rather than have xangacom’s associates ID. If you’d rather support xangacom (which I do, but in a different way) you can just use their tool to generate these midgets. Mouse over the links to see the differences
Update: Actually, since I’ve moved out of xanga, the one below is generated by AMM. Check them out too 😉
that’s really cool!
i showed it to the UPS guy who come to our office everyday, and he was stunned! hahahaha
Yeah. Ben Fry is a genious I heard. The graphics engine that he used (Processing) is actually written by him himself. Have a few friends learning to use it.
I don’t think there is a pressing need to standardize transport protocols for the entire world (e.g. nomadic people).
