Malaysia’s Happy Telco

Whoa! Happy sia!

A mixture of excitement (why no other news? Haven’t launched yet?) and anxiety (you sure or not, how many telco M’sia got already woh…) when I saw this little link posted by Chen Chow this morning.

The service promises a prepaid 1 sen/sec call, 99 sen max, 10sen/msg sms, and 60 day validity on prepaid credit – simple to articulate, simple to remember, but still not long enough for me (who needs credits to be stored for 6 months). But, lest we forget, they design everything to make you and me HAPPY.

I must be missing out on some other news. Heard that most of KL is now plastered with Happy logo and based on the Privacy Policy on the site it’s basically a Digi show, maybe to differentiate with their existing (fu yoh!!) prepaid services.
