Coined a new term: Bodohcrat
Interesting discussion made me coined a new term today: Bodohcrat, after seeing all sorts of terms like pseudocrat and fauxpublican used in the US.
crat (krat) participant in or supporter of (a specified kind of) government or ruling body.
democrat, aristocrat
In Malay, bodoh means stupid. So, a bodohcrat is a stupid participant in or supporter of (a specific kind of) government or ruling body. Here are some example usage:
- The wrong decision in the ministry can be attributed to the bodohcrats trying too hard to please the minister, while setting the country one step back.
- “You bodohcrat!” shouted the rallying protesters against the police who prevented them from rallying.
- “Are you an environmental bodohcrat or do you come from Singapore? Encouraging people to bike to work in Malaysia is going to severely set back the country’s productivity!”
