A Musical Arrangement

You’ll this Sibelius plugin call Scorch to view this piece of music. And it is temporary – I will have to remove it when the project is done.

This is just a sample of what you will hear live performed by NYP Symphony Orchestra, with dancers from other NYP student bodies on stage, if you attend their dance musical end of this month (sorry I still can’t find any online collateral, so you’ll have to take my word for it for now). Originally titled “Shall We Dance? Dance With Me?” – I think there will be a new name for it soon.

This is rather significant to me in my life because finally I’ve manage to conquer my extreme laziness and take my first step to running this mini-business officially. I’ve been arranging music and helping groom kids by providing them the most useful (which means, most challenging yet playable) music for the longest time, since the age of 14 maybe. It used to be that the satisfaction from doing it already suffice, but now that realities in life sets in, I need to put some commitment into it and get something out of it as well, so I officially called it a business.

No website yet, but definitely open to more interesting projects. Yes it will be fly by night – so I can’t do magic for cases where you’ll need to “right now”, but given enough time there should be no problem accommodating the hardest requirements. After all, that’s the reason you come to me – you can’t find something that works off the shelf. The world world is so flooded with sheet music that sometimes it’s hard to create a clearing house to give you exactly what you need. Maybe I can help, like consultant style.

So, if you need a piece of piano score (or guitar tabs) of your bf/gf’s favourite song that you can actually learn and play, or an ensemble in need to enlarge your repertoire, or a school band wanting some pop music to compliment your concert program, or even an establishment who require some prefabricated music to go with your media releases, just drop me a note 🙂 I’ll gladly help you out! [Tech jobs are welcome too!!]

I have other artifacts on sibelius music – mostly free music.

Shall we dance? Boom boom boom chiang 🙂

  1. Ah, just came back from the NYP concert (eventually named danceALIVE!) 🙂 Many things came as a surprise, but on the whole everyone put their best and each best manage to cover for the other imperfect parts, creating one of the best school productions I’ve seen thus far.

Kudos to everyone – and good luck on the second show!
