On the newly setup job board for start-ups, jobs.triplepoint.asia, startups get to hire for less!
Startups Pay Less
If you’re a startup that incorporated in 2009, Listing Fee = S$25
If you’re a startup that incorporated in 2008, Listing Fee = S$35
If you’re a startup that incorporated in 2007, Listing Fee = S$45
For startups who have not registered a company, S$25.
For all other companies, S$100.
Surely the site will get better than its bare bones currently. Wonder if this was the collective response by the startup community makers to the earlier suggestion to run a booth at university career fairs and convincing students that it’s OK to join startups fresh out of school, to counter the lack of developer issue here.
The pay issue still isn’t addressed, which is more fundamental.

Ong Jiin Joo is a Business Development Manager in SingTel Innovation Exchange. Much of his life thus far has been straddling the technology world and the music world, and nothing in between. He pretends that a lot of people read his blog, and is thus only partially frank in his writing. To get the full blown view often involves contacting him for coffee (he doesn't like alcohol).
