And here’s the first bit – stay informed (don’t worry, these guys only send on avg an e-mail a month or so)
Why should you join? In short:
1. It’s urgent. Did you see the polar ice platforms breaking?
2. It’s solvable. Because it’s simple to change your habit and your company’s processes.
3. Global warming affects people everywhere. It’s the degree of the effect that kills.
4. Together, we can do something about it.
There’s something simple about climate crisis and how it connects with the individual: no one can solve the crisis alone, but collectively, we humans, the greatest polluters, are also the greatest strength in preserving our planet. Maybe you’re like me, use plastic bags, drives a car, waste electricity and all that, just because that’s the most convenient thing to do. But it doesn’t have to be that way – if 80% of IKEA (S’pore)’s customers can get used to bringing their own bag, drivers can take public transport more often to work, and even smart data centers servers can turn off themselves when the demand is low (e.g. at night), so can you – you’ll have to find your own way of conscious living, and sometimes these so called “reminders” from activists can help a great deal. Anyway you’re not wasting paper receiving their e-mails!

He pretends that a lot of people read his blog, and is thus only partially frank in his writing. To get the full blown view often involves contacting him for coffee (he doesn't like alcohol).
