Happy New(spaper) Year!

Well, you can do shopping, here’s something more interesting – crumple newspapers and throw them into the rubbish bin. As usual, the most wtf ideas on the internet is usually gets the most attention.

Looking at the trackbacks, I guess I must one of the last to find this one out. The gist of it is this: go to Suria KLCC at 3:00pm tomorrow with some mainstream newspapers, crumple them and throw them exactly at 3:30pm into the rubbish bin. If plan foiled, try again at 7:30pm. Must throw into bin, if full go to another floor (i.e. don’t dirty the place). Watch timing must match Channel 8.

My conspiracy theory tells me that some Suria marketers must have thought of this to attract more people to come during New Year holiday. Damn good business la! You think people are just going to park and throw a piece of paper and go home?!

Well I can’t be there, will be helping my dear brother get settled in to Singapore (such irony) so he can earn the ever appreciating SGD too. And it’s 2008 – there’s so much to plan, so much to think, so much to do!
